At the core of Recovery is the belief that people living with behavioral health conditions can and do recover, and deserve opportunities to build lives not defined by those conditions. It is an individual journey of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles and practices promote the values of recovery and are collaborative, person directed, and individualized that help individuals develop skills and access resources needed to increase their capacity to be successful and to build their self-directed lives.

In this workshop participants will learn the Four Stages of Recovery and how they connect to a person's journey. They will learn the values, principles, and practices of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and be able to apply them in their work.
